The KAYAK Hotel App

WHAT: Key to KAYAK’s entry into the hotelier space was making staying easier for guests. Our app for managing and enhancing guests stay was our opportunity to show the industry how tech can disrupt hospitality for the better.

CHALLENGE: Develop the copy for an onboarding flow that clearly explained how to setup their account as well as communicating how to utilize the app’s features.

Add a Reservation

In order for guests to make the most of their stay with a KAYAK hotel, they need to connect their reservation. I was tasked with creating the copy to help explain how to do it—and why it was a benefit to them.

Guest Requests

Modernizing the stay experience, the Manage Your Stay app allowed guests to request amenities via the app. Working with a designer, I was responsible for communicating what these amenities were and managing the expectations of when guests would receive them.

Chat Bot

Once guests had made their room service selections in-app, they’d be directed to a Chat Bot whose tone and content I was responsible for developing.
